Water Testing & Analysis in The Woodlands
On-site testing for homes across The Woodlands, Spring, and Shenandoah, with laboratory analysis available for specific concerns.

Understanding What Is in Your Water
Every good water-treatment decision starts with an accurate test. Without one, homeowners often buy equipment that does not address their real issues, or worry about problems that do not exist. In The Woodlands, residents usually request testing when they move into a new home, when they notice taste, odor, staining, or scale, when a new baby arrives, or after news about local water. The Woodlands Water Filtration performs on-site analysis for hardness, chlorine, total dissolved solids, pH, and iron, and we arrange certified laboratory testing for lead, bacteria, nitrates, PFAS, and other specific contaminants when needed. You receive written results and a plain-language explanation, whether or not you decide to install anything.
What Water Testing Includes
Our testing is thorough, transparent, and yours to keep. Each visit includes the following.
-
Hardness measurement
We measure calcium and magnesium in grains per gallon to determine whether scale is a concern for your home.
-
Chlorine and chloramine testing
We test free and total chlorine so you know which disinfectant is present and how strong it is.
-
Total dissolved solids
A TDS reading gives an overall picture of the minerals and compounds dissolved in your water.
-
pH testing
We check whether your water is acidic, neutral, or alkaline, since pH affects plumbing and treatment choices.
-
Iron and manganese screening
We screen for metals that cause staining and metallic taste, especially important for well owners.
-
Laboratory testing options
For lead, bacteria, nitrates, PFAS, and other concerns, we arrange analysis through a certified laboratory.
-
Written results
Every reading is recorded on a written report that you keep, regardless of whether you buy anything.
-
Plain-language explanation
We walk through each result and explain what it means for your health, plumbing, and appliances.
How Water Testing Works
-
Schedule a visit
Call to set a time that suits you. A specialist arrives with testing equipment and draws samples from your kitchen tap and, when relevant, your main line or well. Setup takes just a few minutes.
-
Test and explain
We run the on-site tests while you watch, explaining each result as it appears. If laboratory testing is warranted, we collect samples and explain what will be analyzed. The visit takes about thirty to forty-five minutes.
-
Review your options
You receive written results. If treatment would help, we explain your options and provide a flat-rate quote. If your water is fine, we tell you so.
Why Homeowners Trust Our Water Testing
